Fluvidia is a camera/recording app. Your recordings are stored on your device and are uploaded only to the destinations you configure.

Who we are

Fluvidia (the “App”) is provided by Kat Tsz Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

Information we collect

1) Content you create (recordings)

  • Video and audio recordings captured using your device camera and microphone.
  • Recording files and metadata stored on your device (for example: timestamps, segment files, and upload status).

2) Upload destination configuration (you provide)

If you configure uploads, the App stores settings needed to connect to your chosen destination(s), such as:

  • Server details (for example: host, port, base path, share path).
  • Account identifiers (for example: username for FTP/SMB/WebDAV; cloud account email/name for cloud providers).
  • Preferences (for example: passive mode, encryption option flags, and selected folders).

3) Credentials and access tokens

  • Passwords for certain destinations (such as FTP/SMB/WebDAV) are stored locally on your device using Android’s encrypted storage mechanisms.
  • Cloud access tokens (if you connect cloud accounts) and stream keys (if you configure RTMP streaming) are stored locally on your device so the App can perform the features you enable.

Note: The App does not require you to create an in-app account with us.

4) Device and app information (diagnostics)

The App may collect technical information to help diagnose issues and improve reliability, such as:

  • Device model, OS version, app version
  • Crash logs and stack traces
  • Performance metrics (for example: app responsiveness and timing)

How we use information

  • To record and save your videos locally on your device
  • To upload your recordings to the destinations you configure
  • To keep your configured destinations available across app sessions
  • To detect, prevent, and fix bugs; monitor stability and performance
  • To provide support if you contact us

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following cases:

1) With the providers you choose

If you enable uploads, the App transmits your recordings and necessary connection details to the destination(s) you configure, such as:

  • FTP/FTPS/SFTP servers
  • SMB/CIFS servers (NAS / file shares)
  • WebDAV servers
  • Cloud storage providers (for example: Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive)

Those providers have their own privacy policies and terms. Your administrator (e.g., a server owner) may be able to access files you upload to their infrastructure.

2) With telemetry service providers (diagnostics)

We use third-party services to help us understand crashes and performance issues:

  • Firebase (Google) — crash/performance and related diagnostics
  • Sentry — crash/performance and related diagnostics

These services may process device and app information described above and may receive network information (such as IP address) as part of standard service operation.

3) Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect users, or protect our rights.

Storage & retention

  • On-device storage: Recordings are stored on your device until you delete them, uninstall the App, or use in-app deletion features (if available).
  • Uploads: Once uploaded, your files are stored by the destination provider/server you selected, under their retention and access controls.
  • Configuration: Destination settings and related data are retained on your device until you remove them.
Important: Connection security depends on the protocol you choose. For example, FTPS/SFTP/HTTPS and SMB encryption provide better protection in transit than plain FTP or HTTP.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Examples include:

  • Storing certain destination passwords using Android encrypted storage mechanisms
  • Keeping app data within Android’s app sandbox
  • Supporting encrypted transport options when you choose protocols like FTPS/SFTP/HTTPS or SMB encryption

No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • Permissions: You can control camera/microphone/notification permissions in Android Settings.
  • Uploads: You can add/remove destinations at any time and choose which destination(s) to use.
  • Delete data: You can delete recordings and remove destinations/accounts from within the App (where provided). Uninstalling the App removes local app data from the device.
  • Contact: You can contact us to ask privacy questions or request support.

Analytics & crash reporting

We use Firebase and Sentry to collect crash reports and performance metrics to improve stability and diagnose issues. We do not use this data for advertising.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
